TG1 9 gauge D-ring hog rings are made for chain link fence, animal enclosures and other heavy-duty work where speed and a reliable hold matter. Each blunt-point ring closes from 1.1875″ open to 0.4375″ closed, so it holds firmly without leaving sharp points. The rings come collated in strips that feed straight into a magazine plier. Pick the material for the job:
- Aluminum: lighter to carry and handle, resists corrosion. About 10 lb per box of 2500.
- Galvanized steel: stiffer than aluminum for joints that take more load or abuse. Zinc coating for outdoor use. Steel is roughly 3x heavier, so the box ships heavier.
Applications
- Chain link fence installation: fasten chain link fabric to tension wire.
- Fence repair: re-secure loose fabric on existing fence lines.
- Kennels and enclosures: tie wire and panels on dog runs, pens and animal enclosures.
- Signs and screens: hang signs and windscreen on chain link.
