Magazine-fed hog ring plier for 1-3/16″ 9 gauge D-rings. The spring-loaded magazine puts the next ring in the jaws, so you keep moving down the fence line instead of loading rings one at a time.

  • Takes collated 1-3/16″ 9 ga D-rings, aluminum or galvanized
  • Spring-loaded magazine holds 25 rings
  • Spring-loaded ergonomic handles reduce fatigue on long runs
  • Closes rings to 7/16″ around fabric and tension wire

Load it with TG1 9 ga D-rings, aluminum or galvanized (2500 count).

TG1 Automatic Hog Ring Pliers are built for fence contractors who hang chain link all day. The plier takes collated 1-3/16″ 9 gauge D-rings from a spring-loaded magazine, so each squeeze closes a ring to 7/16″ and the next one is ready. Spring-loaded ergonomic handles cut hand fatigue on long runs, and the head reaches in around tension wire, chain link fabric and kennel panels in tight spots.

Applications

  • Chain link fence installation: ring chain link fabric to top, middle and bottom tension wire.
  • Fence repair: re-tie loose or sagging fabric on commercial and residential fence.
  • Kennels and dog runs: fasten panels and wire on kennel and run builds.
  • Animal enclosures: secure wire on pens, cages and livestock enclosures.
  • Signs and screens: attach signs and windscreen to chain link.

Using it

  • Use collated 1-3/16″ 9 ga D-rings only. Other ring sizes, gauges and C-ring styles will not feed or close correctly.
  • Aluminum rings are lighter and corrosion resistant. Galvanized steel rings are stiffer for joints that take more load.
  • Load a strip into the magazine, set the jaws around the fabric and tension wire, and squeeze fully to close each ring.
  • This is a hand tool. Speed comes from not reloading between rings, not from power assist.
  • Wear gloves and eye protection when working cut wire and fabric ends.
