Terminator 30-9/16″ Band Saw Blades for M12 FUEL– 14/18 TPI, 10 Pack
Replacement blades sized for the Milwaukee M12 FUEL Compact Band Saw (2529-20 / 2529-21XC): 30-9/16″ long, 1/2″ wide, .020″ thick. Terminator blades are M42 bi-metal cobalt, made in the USA. The 14/18 variable pitch and modified raker set keep vibration and tooth strippage down on pipe, tube, strut and solids. Ten blades per pack, so a full day of cutting won’t leave you hunting for a spare.
Applications for the M12 FUEL Compact Band Saw
- Strut and channel: square, burr-light cuts on Unistrut-style channel, the job the M12 FUEL compact band saw is built around.
- Threaded rod: one-handed cuts on all-thread overhead, with less thread damage than an abrasive wheel.
- Pipe and conduit: black iron, galvanized and rigid conduit within the 1/4″–3/8″ wall range.
- Angle, flat bar and small solids: structural shapes up to the saw’s 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ capacity.
- Non-ferrous: copper, brass and aluminum pipe and bar.

Fitment: M12 FUEL Compact Band Saw Blade Size
The Milwaukee M12 FUEL Compact Band Saw calls for a 30-9/16″ x 1/2″ x .020″ bi-metal blade. That’s the same size as the 48-39-0631 blade Milwaukee ships with the saw. These are Terminator blades, not a Milwaukee product.
| Brand | Model | Saw | Blade Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| Milwaukee | 2529-20 (tool only) | M12 FUEL Compact Band Saw | 30-9/16″ x 1/2″ x .020″ |
| Milwaukee | 2529-21XC (kit) | M12 FUEL Compact Band Saw | 30-9/16″ x 1/2″ x .020″ |
Does NOT fit:
- Milwaukee M12 Sub-Compact Band Saw (2429). It takes a shorter blade of about 27″.
- Milwaukee M18 compact band saws. These take 35-3/8″: see our 35-3/8″ compact band saw blades.
- Milwaukee M18 deep-cut and other full-size portable band saws. These take 44-7/8″: see our 44-7/8″ portable band saw blades.
- DeWalt compact band saws (DCS371 / DCS377) and Makita XBP04. They use a different blade length.

Cutting Guidance
- Material range: 14/18 TPI is sized for 1/4″–3/8″ material. For pipe, tube and strut, go by wall thickness. For solids, go by diameter or thickness.
- Heavier stock: on heavier wall and solids over 3/8″, a coarser pitch (10/14 or 8/11) cuts faster and clears chips better.
- Thin wall: for material 3/16″ and thinner, an 18 TPI blade is the better match. 14/18 will cut thin conduit and sheet, but expect more chatter and faster tooth wear.
- Stainless: fine for light and occasional stainless cuts. Run slow, use steady pressure and don’t let the blade rub without cutting.
- Speed: the blades are rated to 285 SFPM for longest life. The 2529 reaches 570 SFPM at full trigger, so ease off on stainless and thick sections.
- Technique: keep at least three teeth in the cut, let the saw’s weight do the feeding, and back off at breakthrough.
